Now including EV charging, APH Park & Ride EV offers two options for charging your electric vehicle. A 30 kW option and a 60 kW option are available to you depending on your need.

We will charge your vehicle for you once you have dropped it off, so you do not need to wait around. Just ensure you bring your charging cable and any other relevant equipment.

The state-of-the-art APH Park & Ride Gatwick facility is fitted out with the latest in car park technology, including 120 computer-controlled CCTV cameras, across-site security lighting and barrier-controlled entry and exit gates. You can be sure that your vehicle is in safe hands for the duration of your trip.

Disabled Facilities

If you require a little assistance, just press the button when you reach the entry barrier under the canopy. The friendly APH staff are always happy to help and the transfer buses are wheelchair friendly. You can request for your car to be parked close to the reception office for when you come to collect it after your trip..

Arriving

The arrival procedure is simple.

  1. Drive through the automated entry barrier and follow the road markings to the arrival bays.
  2. Head to the reception office to check in your vehicle. A fully trained valet driver will park your car for you.
  3. Hop on the transfer bus for the short journey to the airport terminal.

Make sure you allow enough time to complete your vehicle check-in and airport transfer.

Returning

The return procedure is also simple.

  1. Once you have cleared Customs, head to the transfer bus stop outside the airport terminal and take the bus to the APH car park.
  2. Collect your car keys and your car.

The car park is staffed 24 hours and they are always pleased to help if you have any queries.

Opening Times

The car park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Note that we will complete the EV charging process only once, either on or shortly after your arrival at the car park, and any loss of charge thereafter will not be topped up upon collection. Your vehicle will be charged to the value you have pre-purchased only (which may not result in your car registering fully charged). It should be left in valet mode, if applicable, and must arrive at the car park with a minimum charge of 5% to avoid any risk of battery draining.

Our fully insured drivers will move your car from the charging point to a secure parking bay for the duration of your trip and will bring it back to the Reception area for you to collect upon your return.

Charging is available at either 30kW or 60kW

Additional Information

Maximum vehicle height: 2.4m. Trailers are not accepted.

Vehicles must be able to fit into a standard parking bay and must be able to be driven on a standard driving licence.

Your car must arrive at the car park with at least 5% vehicle charge and you must supply your own charging lead. Your vehicle will be charged to the value you have pre-purchased only (which may not result in your car registering fully charged).

We will deliver the amount of charge that you pay for, whether that is 30kW or 60 kW. In many cases, the 60 kW will fully charge your vehicle but it depends on the level of charge you turn up with and the size of your vehicle’s battery.
