    To request additional assistance on arrival at Airparks Gatwick Self Park, please just press the button when you reach the entry barrier under the canopy. There are always friendly staff on hand to help. Airparks’ transfer buses are wheelchair friendly.

    Arriving

    Arriving at Airparks Gatwick Self Park is easy.

    1. Drive through the automated entry barrier and follow the road markings to the arrival bays.
    2. Head to the reception office, where you will be given directions to your designated parking space.
    3. Park your car, take your luggage and hop on the transfer bus to the airport terminal.

    Make sure you allow enough time to complete your vehicle check-in and airport transfer.

    Returning

    The return procedure is also simple.

    1. Once you have cleared Customs, head to the dedicated transfer bus stop outside the airport terminal and take the bus to the Airparks car park.
    2. Go into the reception office, where you will be given a code for the exit barrier.
    3. Collect your car, exit the car park and continue your journey.

    The car park is staffed 24 hours and there is always someone happy to help if you have any queries.

    Opening Times

    The car park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

    Transfers to and from the airport terminal

    There are regular shuttle bus transfers between the Airparks Gatwick Self Park and both the North and South terminals, which leave approximately every 10 to 15 minutes. The journey time is 10 to 12 minutes.

    The transfers are free of charge and usually go first to the South Terminal, and then to the North Terminal, before returning to the car park. The complimentary transfer service runs throughout the night

    Maximum vehicle height: 2.4m. Trailers are not accepted.

    Airparks Self Park at Gatwick is operated by APH. 

    The car park will accept any vehicle that can fit into a standard parking bay and can be driven on a standard driving licence.

    The car park is unable to transport bikes, surf/windsurfing boards or items of a similar size on their transfer coaches. Snowboards/skis are acceptable.

    Frequently asked Questions

    I am travelling with a baby – do I need a baby seat for the transfer?

    If you are travelling with a baby, you do not have to bring a baby seat with you. If you would like to bring one, you absolutely can.

    For travellers with young children and lots of luggage, we recommend that you consider using a Meet & Greet service, to make your arrival at the airport as smooth as possible.

    What is a ParkMark award?

    A Park Mark award certifies a car parks Safer Parking status. It is a scheme backed by the Police and only awarded to car parks that have met the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the Police. It is worth looking out for when choosing a car park.

    Do you sell motorbike parking?

    Unfortunately, no, we do not sell motorbike parking. If you require this, it is available at some UK airports, and we recommend that you inquire directly with the airport for more information on this.

    What is ANPR?

    ANPR stands for Automatic Number Plate Recognition. This is used in a lot of car parks to verify whether you have a booking in the system. When you arrive the ANPR cameras will pick up your car registration and if it matches with a booking in their system, the barriers will open for you.
